When I was a little girl, I would gaze at the mountains around me and it would be covered in yellow! These days, I realized that there aren’t that many of these plants anymore. As more and more houses fill the mountains, it is sad that not many sunflowers can now be seen.
Over the years, sunflowers, together with Pine trees and strawberries, have become symbols of Baguio City. Without much effort, a tourist can immediately notice these bright yellow plants painted on walls and placed on posters/billboards around the city.
And why not? Who doesn’t like sunflowers? Undeniably, sunflowers can brighten any space. Naturally, sunflowers are a very popular theme when it comes to local Arts and Crafts. Crochet sunflowers are so beautiful and these can be used as an applique for clothing, bags, and beanies!
I was looking for am awesome pattern and I came across this Crochet Flower Pattern by Uta of Paper, Wool & Yarn.
