Pattern Review: Sunny Mandala By Lilla Bjorn Crochet

I’ve recently discovered Lilla Bjorn’s awesome mandalas and I cannot stop ogling these at Etsy. I’ve done the Mira and the Sunny. I’ve yet to purchase three more of the gorgeous mandalas made by Tatsiana, the owner of Lilla Bjorn.

I wanted to share my experience making the beautiful Sunny Mandala. The pattern is easy enough to understand and follow. I think you would need to be in the intermediate to advanced level to be able to accomplish each round. As Tatsiana mentioned in the written the pattern, Overlay Crochet is a fairly new technique and understanding the instructions is necessary in order to accomplish each round. In my case, I found it helpful to write how I understood each round at he side of the written pattern. This is entirely up to you. I just found it easier to simplify the instructions, depending on how I understood it. If you can follow the instructions as it is written, then there is no need for you to do this.

Each round is very satisfying and watching the design come alive after every round just brings one so much joy. If you are planning to make this awesome Lilla Bjorn Mandala, you can buy the pattern from Etsy. Happy hooking!

P.S. There is a border pattern to make this Mandala bigger! Love and Light.
